Dr.(Mrs) Ngozi Onyemelukwe.C PhD Chemical Engineering

I very much agree that the best things in life are free gifts. I'm very contented and happy that I retired young in the Nigerian Civil Service.

I was a former Director/ HOD of Materials and Energy Technology Department at the Projects Development Institute (PRODA), Enugu, Nigeria.

My background in my family has continued to remind me that goodness is better than beauty. Born July 28, 1951, Nnewi, Anambra State Nigeria, married Mr. C.O.J. Onyemelukwe on Feb. 2, 1980, four children, one son and three daughters. Basic schools attended include St. Stephen's Primary Schl. Umudim, Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria, Girls Secondary School, Nnewi, Alma mater include Institute of Management and Technology(IMT), Enugu, Technical University of Budapest Hungary, Enugu State University of Science and Technology(ESUT).

Today, I have found the strength and passion to motivate people on radio stations about ethical values of Work, and entreprenuership as adaptative measure to the rising unemployments in Nigeria.

While in Federal service I participated at International Workshop  on promoting Coal for Power Generation, 1st International  Workshop on Renewable Energy, International Workshop on the Role of Energy Research and Development(R&D) in meeting D-8(Eight Developing Countries, Technical Mission to China for R& D equipment Sourcing. Laboratory Equipment Training at Buck ScientificCompany (USA), Parr Instruments Company Moline USA, Cecil Instruments Ltd Cambridge United Kingdom, other trainings in Nigeria. I have a very good experience on commercialization of R& D results, strong analytical skills etc. Headed the Coal Research Team that perfected the R & D on Nigerian coals, fabicated and test run the first ingenious 1-tonne Coal Carbonization Plant. Many publications in local and International journals. Life Member of Chemical Society of Nigeria, Fellow, Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, Member Nigerian Society of Engineers, Member, Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers
